Description

The Eddystone Trust is an independent sexual health and HIV organisation providing information, training and support across the South West. Services can be provided to people in a location convenient to them, it is not necessary to travel to the Eddystone head office. Please call for details. We offer:

• Rapid HIV community testing (in Plymouth, Devon, Torbay and Gloucestershire)

• Pre- and post-test discussion

• Emotional and practical support to people affected by HIV

• Support with housing and money issues

• Outreach

• Advocacy

• Counselling & therapies

• Access to hardship funding

• Safer sex resources

• Group work and one-to-one advice and support on safer sex

• Condoms by post and condoms in key venues

• Information and training on HIV and sexual health

• Consultancy and organisational development

HIV testing for all.

HIV support services

Advocacy, emotional and practical support offered to all affected by HIV in Devon, Torbay, Plymouth and Somerset. From welfare benefits to adherence support, living well courses, peer support, housing and money support, access to counselling and therapies and more

HIV outreach prevention services

Outreach aimed at most at risk groups in public sex environments across Devon, Plymouth, Torbay and Gloucestershire. Regular partnership working with Police and other key agencies. Sexual Health Outreach Project (SHOP) with street-based sex workers in Plymouth.

HIV outreach in GUM clinics

Outreach work at Plymouth GUM, Torbay Hospital, Exeter GUM, Barnstaple GUM, Taunton GUM, Yeovil GUM, Street GUM, Gloucester GUM (Hope House).

Training & professional development

Accredited training and CPD delivered by qualified experienced trainers aimed at a range of health and social care professionals. See website for training brochure.
