Description

The Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) department is located on the top floor of the Geoffrey Hodges Wing on the Outwoods site of the hospital.

The GUM department provides STI diagnosis and treatment.

HIV/AIDS advice and testing, including rapid test, or same-day results, where appropriate.

Emergency contraception. Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) for HIV and hepatitis B.

Hepatitis B and C testing and vaccinations where appropriate,

Comprehensive HIV outpatient treatment and care.

Drop-in and appointments available, telephone for times.

For PEP outside clinic hours attend A&E.
