The team comprises specialist nurses who can offer a home-based service to children and adults with or affected by HIV living in Tayside. Home-based service includes information and advice on all aspects of HIV to individuals, carers and families, as well as nursing care at home. Advice on antiretroviral treatment adherence. Other services include pre- and post-test counselling, supportive counselling at home, bereavement counselling, health education to groups, professional liaison with other agencies.
