NECA provides Housing in Sunderland, Gateshead and Wansbeck with the aim to provide short term, fully furnished supported accommodation to single people, who are homeless or whose accommodation prevents recovery from substance dependency. The support includes life skills training with the aim to help the service user move on to independent living

Training

NECA Training staff are fully qualified, and offer a diverse range of training programmes, which can be tailored to specific requirements. Courses are available covering Vocational Training, Personal Development, Customer Service and Professional Development. NECA training are committed to ensuring all learning needs are met, utilising a wide range of methods and resources.

Drink drive rehabilitation

NECA has contracted with the Department of Transport to cover the North Eastern Region delivering courses and training for those people who have been processed through the courts for drink driving

Complementary therapy

Providing a range of treatments and therapies proven to be effective in enhancing treatment programmes for drug users. This includes auricular acupuncture, aromatherapy, reflexology etc.

Semi-independent living scheme

Providing supported housing to clients experiencing substance misuse problems. This is undertaken in partnership with local authority and housing associations.
