Training programmes and tailor-made training packages for statutory, voluntary and other organisations; drug awareness and specialist drug training.

Needle exchange

Provision of sterile injecting equipment for all injecting drug users including performance enhancing drugs such as steroids, human growth hormone and melanotan.

Harm Reduction Clinical Services

Provision for injecting drug users and sex workers: blood-borne virus screening (Hep B, C, HIV) instant with venepuncture follow up. Vaccinations for hepatitis A&B. Advice for safer injecting practice. Minor wound assessment. Blood pressure checks.

Street Sex Work Support Service

Specific harm reduction support service for sex workers, including outreach service to the beat twice weekly. BBV screening and vaccinations available. Free condoms, lubricant, personal alarms, note checker pens, pregnancy testing, chlamydia screening for under 25’s, needle exchange. Intensive 1-2-1 support for accessing other health services, housing, benefits and fast track into GUM services and CaSH for contraception. Ugly Mug Scheme.

Mon-Thu 08:30-16:30 at Jarman Centre.
