Who this service is for

Young people.

At Brook Manchester we welcome young people aged 19 and under.

Our service is based in Manchester City Centre and provides FREE and confidential sexual health and advice to young people. All of our sessions operate as walk-in clinics, and you’re not required to make an appointment. We also have appointment slots every day

We welcome boys and young men as well as girls and young women at all our sessions, where we can provide you with information, free condoms, contraception and emergency contraception, as well as screening for Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis and HIV and treatment for some sexually transmitted infections. We also provide pregnancy testing and advice on unplanned pregnancy plus referral for abortion.

At Brook Manchester we also offer FREE counselling for anyone aged 19 or under. You don’t need to have visited us before, just call and make a referral over the telephone. Counselling clients are allocated a weekly counsellor, whom helps young people to explore, understand and overcome issues in their lives.

We invite you to speak to our nurses or wellbeing support workers about any worries or concerns you may have.

Brook Manchester also offers schools and colleges a range of free Relationship and sex education sessions for their young people. Schools and colleges can simply ring Brook Manchester and ask to speak to the Education and Wellbeing team to make a booking.
