LGBT Foundation offers a comprehensive range of health & wellbeing services to members of the LGBT community from sexual health interventions, safer sex packs and testing clinics to talking therapies, befriending and social and support groups.

We also have a dedicated Women’s Programme and Trans Programme with tailored services to increase confidence and resilience in these communities.

LGBT foundation runs Pride in Practice, a patient standard for achieving excellence in LGBT healthcare, providing support across all primary care services, including dentists, pharmacies, optometrists and GP Practices across Greater Manchester.

We have a dedicated Drug & Alcohol Engagement Co-ordinator, focusing on early help and prevention, harm reduction and one-to-one support.

LGBT Foundation offers rapid HIV clinics for LGBT people and men who have sex with men, throughout the week at our building in Manchester city centre. LGBT Foundation’s Outreach Clinic provided by ‘The Northern Contraception, Sexual Health & HIV Service’ runs every Thursday and provides a full sexual-health check-up. Testing includes: Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, and Syphilis. Results for full sexual health check up, will usually be available within 1-2 weeks. Our full screening clinics are for men who have sex with men.

We’ll be delivering rapid HIV tests across Greater Manchester for LGBT people and men who sex with men visit http://lgbt.foundation/testing to find and when and where we’re testing next.

We’ll be delivering rapid HIV tests across Greater Manchester for LGBT people and men who sex with men visit http://lgbt.foundation/testing to find and when and where we’re testing next.

Sexual Wellbeing chats

We also provide one-to-one support for people to discuss their sexual wellbeing in a confidential and on-judgmental space. We can provide you with support and information on how to take control of your sexual health, from accessing and dosing PrEP and PEP through to communicating openly with your partner(s) about the sex you want to have.

Condom & lube distribution scheme

LGBT Foundation runs the largest condom and lube scheme outside London for LGBT people. The service covers Greater Manchester. The scheme distributes packs which contain two condoms and two sachets of water-based lube and we also provide condoms and lube to saunas.
